Genesis Harvest Appeal.
Sarah Thorn, Fundraising and PR Manager for the Genesis Trust,
writes:
"It is that time of year again, our food cupboard is empty and we
would be delighted with any donations of food from harvest
festivals.
You have been very supportive in the past and all food given to
Genesis gets passed on to our clients. We give out about fifteen
bags of food a week or 480 cans a month!!! and about 100 food
parcels at Christmas. So any donation of non-perishable goods will
be extremely useful and the recipients will be delighted with the
food.
You can drop donations off to the Furniture Project, 31A West
Avenue, Bath, BA2 3QB, Monday to Friday 10am-4.30pm. Alternatively
we can come and pick up the food, please ring Peter on 01225 421111.
Editors Note: There is also a "green bin" at the back of St.
Mary's , Marshfeld, into which you can put donations of
non-perishable goods at any time. The bin is emptied regularly and
the goods taken to Genesis.
