A Benefice Prayer:

Lord, let us not labour for you in vain. Teach us to pray, deepen our fellowship,

united in Christ, we might indeed become a holy temple in which you dwell by

your Spirit. Amen.

-(in the words of the Bible Reading Fellowship Prayer) that "all who prayerfully

read your word will deepen their fellowship with each other through your love"

(Home Groups resume meeting this week).

- for the many victims of natural disasters throughout the world, and for the

agencies that seek to provide both for their immediate needs and long-term

recovery.

Sunday 12th September: 15th Sunday after Trinity

God,who in generous mercy sent the Holy Spirit upon your Church in the burning fire

of your love: grant that your people may be fervent in the fellowship of the gospel that,

always abiding in you, they may be found steadfast in faith and active in service;

through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord. Amen

O Lord, we beseech you mercifully to hear the prayers of your people who call upon

you; and grant that they may both perceive and know what things they ought to do,

and also may have grace and power faithfully to fulfil them; through Jesus Christ your

Son our Lord, Amen.

Sunday 26th September: 17th Sunday after Trinity

Almighty God, you have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless till they find
